Sharon & Beauty - -

I'd like to be one of the first to say that I really like the new background design and the sparkling rose logo (although I liked the Native American woman, too)!

I think the sparkling rose is perfect - - it represents friendship (yellow) and the sparkling 'diamonds' (to me) means we're all beautiful.

Thank you for the new designs!

!!!yes!!! with SilverLady and Lorna, nice job, Sharon and Gracie.

The only thing I noticed that might still need a bit of fine tuning is on the very front page - I found the color of the font of the warning message now doesn't seem to have sufficient contrast with the solid color background to be easily read. May I suggest that the font color for the warning be either whiter or another color that gives more contrast?

It's excellent otherwise as I view it with firefox on my 15 inch flat panel screen at 1024x768 resolution.

Thank you, thank you... ^^_|| I just loved that fairy in the chat room and wanted to incorporate it everywhere. You all must admit it now, wouldn't we all like to look like that... =P~

I will probably be changeing more little things to make it all blend in better... :) Just be patient and don't freak out if all of a sudden everyting turns a lime green, I'm just trying to figure out what goes where... :-k

I'm really glad that you like the new look. I thought it was about time for something fresh.

Thanks all for the wonderful compliments. It just gives me the warm fuzzies all over... :)

If you mean the welcome message, it has to do with the text "anti-aliasing" to the background color. The text on the front page fades to a white background instead of a color closer to the background image.

It could use a little more contrast also.

But don't take this as any sort of disapproval. I love the new look also!

Huggs!

Hi all,

Sharon... here is a link to a site that is similar to this one. http://www.cornbury.org/phpbb2/

I offer it only as something to give you some more ideas.

What I like about it is that for those of us with eye sight that is less than 20 20 it is easier to read. That is what I have against the current (old) colors here.

I too like the new colors and the rose, but find it harder to read some of the text.

Just my 2 cents.
