OK ladies what is the weather like in your part of the world?.
Here in SE Missouri I have 3" of snow and a woping -1 this morning.
My grand children from the gulf coast (Mississppi) have never seen snow for real or felt the bite of jack frost. "Grandpa it's cold outside" rotf

Hi all,

Montreal: -8 F and snowing heavily (finally!). No going out in heels today. :P

Time to bring out the shovel. Hope you all have a great winter.

Love,
CJ

edit: no, not -8 F, but -8 C... this is all so confusing... 8-[

when we had 15 inches of snow the other day, someone faraway asked me how many inches we had -- i estimated "bout three." We did have three inches the next day and the day before though. Actually, I like the snow at this time of year. It is soft and fluffy, like the stuff found around the (indoor) Xmas tree. Above all, it is easy to shovel, or sweep off the car with a broom, and there is a nice brisk feeling when you're outside. And the climate itself is sort of warm and beautiful. In less than a month though, I will hate the stuff. Not only because I have seen enough of it, but also because the substance changes. The temeprature gets relaly cold, there is ice to be scraped off car windows, and shoveling is difficult and strenuous. (I have not joined the 20th century snowblower crowd, even though this is now the 21st century).
Oh my God. I thought I was a CD, but it seems I've turned into a weather reporter.
e

We started with sleet last night, it then switched to snow a little over an inch, and while I was cleaning off the car around 5 this morning, it changed to rain.

Currently it is 36 degrees F in D.C. but feels like 31 with the 6 mph wind from the west.

Your weather girl,

About 20F here at the moment and I just shoveled 5" of light powdery stuff from my walk and driveway. Well, in front of the garage anyway. The rest will be plowed later. Still snowing at about 1" per hour.

With the snow and cold we all went Christmas tree shopping today. =D>
This was a first for my grand childred as I said before they never seen snow for real before. You know the cold didn't seem to bother them as it did me, oh to be young again. So happy plowing, shoveling, and enjoy it now as it will be gone soon. _P Carol Ann

Lots of snow today in Waterbury,Connecticut.

When I woke up we had about 5 inches and ended up this afternoon with about 10. It's presently about 28 degress. I just spent the last two 3 hours snow blowing. You know what that means girls don't you? Bubble bath and doing my nails later.
The storm had perfect timing. My x invited me over for my birthday tonight and I can't make it. I'm heart broken! Sounds like a girlie girl night to me. Whatever I choose to wear tonight will definately not be age appropriate. Take that you fashion police! Life is good! Big Hugs

Thanks Sharon for the weather report. Our Christmas in Houston starts in less than 2 weeks. Can't wait to get out of this crummy New England weather into some nice Houston weather.

Hugs, Paige

Temps reached 68 today, overnight low was about 52. The day was cloudy and light rain in some areas, but dry in my neck of the woods.

Ouch! Virginia, would you please quit slapping me? You know I didn't start this conversation, I'm just adding to it. You'll soon get your chance to live here!!

as it is, you're probably a bit overdressed for a game of tennis or golf
