I've often felt like an alien in this world. Par for the course when you're marginal(ized), eh? The Hollywood alien I can most relate to is Jeff Bridges' "Starman." His sense of wonder and discovery before the human world is yet no bulwark against the fact that this world is slowly killing him.
Which alien are you? And why? (Notice that I'm looking here for "earthbound" aliens--no Star Wars cantina sequence allowed! )
I, too, identify with Starman. Not only for his sense of wonder but also for...
"Red means stop, green go, yellow go faster...".
Or, the other one that comes to mind is Alf. Hmmm... now where did that cat go...?

Whatever you accomplish in life is a manifestation not so much of what you do, as of what you believe deeply within yourself that you deserve. - Les Brown
When I was younger I could always relate to Gort (The day the Earth stood still) No face, emotionless. It's eerie how clouded my mind was back then. Nowadays, I think more like the Borg (Star Trek) ...a blend of everthing.

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. - Leonardo DaVinci
Kyra,
I have to tell you that is a great response! A Borg! One of these days I will convince even more of my sisters here that WE ARE THE NEXT STAGE IN HUMAN EVOLUTION! and we will assimulate with or with out!

I was going to say Klatu (Michael Rennie) from that movie , but for women power you couldn't go past Noble Neolani (Francine York) from an episode of lost in space.
