Hey, this is the Off Topics section

So many of my GG friends watch & follow... so IMHO football is not just a 'guy' thing anymore; it's an American thing! :) ***------- Plus, it's a good excuse to break out that cute cheerleader outfit!!

AFC - Pittsburgh @ Denver 3:00 on CBS
NFC - Carolina @ Seattle 6:30 on FOX

GO PITTSBURGH!!! *-*

Who are you rooting for? :)

Hi Lorna--
Maybe I should be rooting for Pittsburgh, but it's a hard pill to swallow. That slot should have been Cincinnati's, I tell you. Shoulda-coulda-woulda; it's all over and done with now, as far as I'm concerned. Being a Bengals fan is a hard life--two Super Bowls against the 49ers, and not one victory. Then a decade or more of total basement dwelling.

You have fun watching the games. Don't mind me--I'll just go over in this corner and sulk for awhile.

SLR, oh wait, they're not in it.

Pittsburg and Carolina should be a good Superbowl.

No it WILL BE Seattle and who ever wins the AFC game. Of all the teams in the playoffs today Seattle has the best record this year and it is there time to go to the Superbowl.

Sorry, Jessie. =; I simply must disagree with you. Carolina has the team, the coach, the talent, and the motivation to beat Seattle today.
*-* Go Panthers *-*

Pittsburgh is going to the Super Bowl, baby!!! =D> *-* \:D/

And I see that Seattle is kicking the stuffing out of Carolina! This ought to make for a very interesting Super Bowl indeed... :-k

I'm sorry Zippy about your pridiction as well. Now the thing is the team up to beating the Steelers in Detroit. The Steelers have won Superbowls in the past and I (being a Seahawk fan) belive that this is truely the year for Seattle. Thought they are 300 miles away they do feel like the closest thing for us espicaly since they do there spring training here which is nice that they stay in the same state and give Eastern Washington a little of what we all want. A SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Go Steelers!! Image

My Patriots didn't come through this year so I'll go with my sons favorite team. Really though, it's just a day to get together with friends and have a good time.

Hugs, Paige

eh, football is for wussies. Now, rugby on the other hand, that's a sport that takes some guts! You don't see those guys stopping the game every two seconds to make new strategies, and you don't see them wearing all kinds of pads. Just goes to show that Americans watch wussy people sports!
