Thanks for the link and the warning. Marlena has written a great post there and maybe for some of those that need and want education they will understand. For the others, I really don't think there is any help. All we can do is keep trying. Some will grow up and otheres never will.

Oh, beleive me, I know. I was kinda surprised by the fact that I only got one honest answer from someone who actually answered the question that I posted, but I wasn't surprised by all the BS that went on in there.

I only wish it were that simple. I recently heard someone say (don't remember who) "you can't rationally argue a person out of an opinion they didn't arrive at rationally." This certainly applies to the folks who replied with such "stoopidity." It would take years of education to enlighten them, and I doubt if they have the intellect or interest for that.

Sad but true, Grace.

But why should we just sit back & allow them to spew their venom, as opposed to calling them on their idiotic beliefs (which in most cases, they don't know for themselves, why they choose to follow them. 9 times out of 10 they only do so because "Mommy & Daddy said so". )

My belief is that when they are challenged and cannot reply, they will have to stop and think. Wait.... on second thought, I have to agree with you there... The concept of "thinking" for those people might burst a blood vessel or two...

Sorry folks; I'm still "schooling" people in that forum!

I can't help it... idiots they are, yes, but some of the replies are just so stupid that it makes my flesh crawl. And anyone who knows me, knows that I am NOT one for keeping silent.

I'd post in the forum, but there's an unknown error that kicks me to the main forum page (on myspace, not here). I'd say it's because I'm trans, but there are others still posting (like Lorna for instance... and NO! NOT Lorna Doone!)
