Find out which presidential candidate matches your views

I suggest you not pick a political party (last question) - otherwise, it will skip candidates not in your party.

Sharpton got !00% with me, followed by Kucinich and Kerry with 95% each. Bush comes in at 12%--surprisingly high, for me.
Thanks for the link, Alexandra. I had not seen everyone's positions laid out so clearly up to now.
That was one beautiful thing about becoming a T-girl. I went from being part of a large political majority (white males) to a small progressive minority (transgender people in general.) It feels good to have a political cause where I combine it with an emotional investment.

I would assume that a majority of us here are left-leaning, because that's where our freedom to be openly TG is supported. But I do want to stress that if there's any conservative CDs on here, there's room for all of us!
It's harder for me to understand gay or TG support for conservative politics, but I know that even here in San Francisco, we have the Log Cabin group of gay republicians. It just seems counter-productive to try to get your political needs met in a situation that's not supportive of you at all!
I suppose it's the same as those of us who work within a conservative religion, trying to be recognized. That's a tough fight. It's difficult enough to organize like-minded people. To be a lone voice within your chosen community is a special calling.

Well, I think of myself as a Moderate.
I don't understand how I got 100% Sharpton when I know I opposed many of the issues he is speaking up for. I wasn't surprised with Edwards though.
It may be a glitch because there were Sharpton, Kerry... Sharton, Kuni Sharpton, Edwards.. etc
Anyhoo, would it show my Bush percentage if I voted as a Republican?

Wow, I really need to look at my overall political stance! I was shocked to see so much of what I consider important seems to be more demorcratic than republican.
