Hello to all. I tried several weeks ago to write this post. But for some reason when I hit the submit button. I got a message stating that I had been banned. So hopefully this problem has been corrected and this message will be posted.
I have been transferred to anoth part of the country with my job. On the morning of the 11th of March, I will be travaling from Illinois to the Jacksonville Florida area. So Claire will disapear for a few months. Once the house sells, I will move my wife Cindy down to join me. Then Claire will be back. Not only online, but in reality as well. My wish for you all here at the forum is that you enjoy all of the happiness that this world will bring to you.

Hugs, Claire

Good luck Claire, I know moving is ruff. All those little odds and ends you have collected all these years and then the unpacking. But the bright side is no more ice and snow just sunshine. (--) Carol Ann

PS
You know you have a lot of sisters down that a way

Good luck in your new job Claire. I'm sure you'll like Jacksonville. It's got to be warmer there. We'll miss you but look forward to your return.

Claire - Congratulations on the job transfer to our much warmer state!! =D> =D> Just remember: no matter how much precipitation we get, it doesn't require snow shovels!! I wish you good luck on selling your house and moving 'everything' down here - btdt 8 years ago myself. Have a safe and happy travel to my Sunshine State! 8)

Virginia, dear, you'll be here in sunny Florida before you know it!

hi Claire!!!
Welcome to Florida. And believe me..theres no truth to the rumor that the mosquitos are so big that they have FAA registration numbers.....On the bright side..Fla has no state income tax..kinda neat. I've met a few girls from the Jax area....so..lord knows..you're gonna be with friends.
welcome :P

Hi Claire,

Good luck in selling the house. Be careful on the trip down. I moved last summer from La. to Co. and I'll not soon forget the stress and turmoil moving creates. I hope you have a smoother experience than I did. I hope you like Fla. too. I've been there for both business and pleasure. One things for sure, it's a lot warmer than Illinois.

Hugs,
Kyra

Claire,

I wish you the best of luck in your relocation.

I hope you can find a buyer for your old house quickly and the process goes smoothly.

I've never been to Florida yet, but my wife's aunt is a snowbird who stays around the Jacksonville area and really likes it there.

Claire--
If there's any reason that Claire has to "disappear" for awhile, this is one of the better ones. At least some of the costs will be taken on by your workplace, if they're transferring you. That takes away some of the headaches of moving. You also get to wade through all the stuff from your past, and jettison a lot of it. That's important to do, every five years or so. Good luck!

:) Good morning ladies.
I made it, the trip was uneventfull. I am currently staying with my son and his little family. I have reported to work like a good trooper. Even though the drive in miles is futher. The drive time is about the same. We still haven't sold our home in Illinois. So my wife Cindy is still up there. But we talk every day at least a couple of times.
I must say though that the weather is agreeing with me. I haven't had the body aches like I did up north. Which is a good thing. And the people down here are fairly friendly, even though while driving in the local area. Like through Lake City to get from one side of town to the other. I find that most people drive in what I call the turtle mode. While I guess from being up north I tend to be in the hare mode. LOL.
Because I am using my sons computer I will be checking in once in a while to see what is happening.

Hugs Claire
