Hello All--
It's time for another webcast from my band, but this time we're doing one of my original songs. Mine is about a T-girl named Lea, and her night on the town. It's a catchy number, and even my dad and my stepmother liked it, and they're in their 90s. The chorus goes:

She's an ordinary man,
But she's a magical woman,
and she roams the borderlands,
of your heart.

This is the kind of song Thin Lizzy would have done, if Phil Lynott had wanted to write about T-girls.



Of course we'll be doing plenty of other rockers--"Mississippi Queen," "Rock the Nation," and "You Really got me." We'll also do "Rebel Rebel," "Seven Nation Army," and that quirky 80s hit, "Never Say Never." In all, we're doing 17 songs--no repeats this time.

It was a tough evening. They had to do repairs on my guitar just before the shoot, and it changed the way the guitar played. So at times I "went for it," and there was nothing there to support me. People who saw the webcast said that the sound was good, and my playing was fine. At times I had fun, but it was uphill work.

But my youngest sister finally tuned in--she has not seen me play in over 20 years, if ever. My old college roommate stayed up to see it, too.

I enjoyed the webcast,. I had glitches, but I think it may have been my DSL.

Both last night and tonight I had to call in to Verizon tech support when the internet light on my router disappeared, but each time I reset the router with their help and I think I can do it myself next time even if I am wearing my blonde wig.

I was watching the webcast full screen on my widescreen laptop and the picture was awesome, even with some dropped frames and freezing here and there.

I ran the sound into one of my desktops to try to capture it, but levels seemed to change and I had some audio dropped, but that could have been my fault.

I thought that your playing was very good, especially considering the repair work that you had to adjust to. As a former guitar player, I think we are our own harshest critics. A lot of things that we don't feel were right sound excellent to the public.
