Sorry I haven't posted much recently, but I've been pretty busy these past couple of weeks - at my new JOB!!!

After 2 1/2 years of flipflopping between unemployment & lousy minimum wage jobs, the struggle is over.

Wow. I can actually afford to pay my bills AND put money away into a savings. Wow. It's been so long. Pinch me!! It's nice to finally have found a job where I can actually live again.

No more minimum wage jobs. No more scraping by to pay the bills. No more mere "survival". I can actually LIVE. I can experience life.

Now granted, NO job in the world is the perfect job because we all know that the "perfect" job does not exist. But compared to what I've put up in the past, I am very happy here. Plus my boss & coworkers are friendly, and this is a GREAT company to work for.

Holy cow, I have health insurance again!

I feel a tremendous weight has been lifted. My self-esteem has returned, I can actually wake up in the mornings, and I now have a more positive general outlook. The feelings of hopelessness that I have carried with me for far too long have finally melted away. I am secure. No more poverty for me.
