I remember the movie, though it's been ages since I've seen it. My little brother and I must've watched the tape a hundred times or more when I was in high school. I honestly didn't remember who some of the performers were. There's something odd about Martha Plimpton's look, but I find her strangely attractive.
On a similar note, when I got off work yesterday morning, I ended up in front of the TV watching "ER" for a couple of hours. I used to watch the show religiously the first three or four seasons, but I fell out after a while, and haven't watched it regularly in forever. It was a little surreal. Noah Wyle is still there, and looks only slightly older than when his character was an intern. Sherry Stringfield was back, and Maura Tierney, Mekhi Phifer and Parminder Negra filled out the roster. Leland Orser and Chad Lowe (I met him once about seven years ago, when his flight was cancelled coming through CLT) were there in supporting slots. I saw the name "Scott Grimes" there as a guest star. When I read this post last night, for some reason I thought of him, I guess because he was another prolific child actor of the 80s. I wondered what had become of him, and there he strolls onto the screen. He looks twentysomething, and has a beard, but I looked at him and immediately saw the kid from the first "Critters", among other things.
