And before I continue with this post, I just want to say that in the past 2-and-a-half years it has indeed been a pleasure having gotten to know each and every one of you here. I have read so many insightful posts, opened my mind to many different ideas on life, laughed and cried with you all, and that I will cherish always.
But I am afraid that the time has come for me to travel the rest of my journey on my own.
This is not because of any unpleasant experiences here. This forum has been my home for a long time. But I have to admit that I no longer have anything useful to bring to the table.
I’ve always have been the square peg in any situation, and always will be. I have always been “out there”. Please know that I am NOT blasting myself in any way – in fact I LOVE being the “different” one It has been my driving force for 34 years.
I just wish I had more to contribute to this forum, but frankly I don’t.
In fact I no longer wish to carry the CD label, not because I'm "ashamed" of it in any way, but moreso because I have NEVER been a fan of labels from the getgo. I just want to be me on MY terms.
We all in this forum ought to be PROUD of ourselves for owning up to who we are. I applaud every last one of us. But I feel that the "common bond" I used to feel here is somehow lost, because of recent personal revelations.
This is not something whereas any sort of “blame” ought to be issued. I think that you are all wonderful. But I am very complex, and my personal tastes are quite often not understood here. But hey. Time passes by, people change, and common grounds fade.
