Has anyone seen this film?? I caught the last half of it and am somewhat lost as to how she got pregnant and well, that alone would help me understand the basics of the movie. From what I saw of it, I would have to recommend it, but you have to pay close attention as it is an English film and you know those gals from across the pond and their dialect is sometimes hard for us'ens to follow!

Hi Virginia,
I saw the film. I own the DVD, as well. It's a good flick. Cillian Murphy does a great job in the lead. In preparing for the role, he spent much time amidst our kind. You're right, though, the heavy accent occasionally makes it tough to follow (once in a while, I had the subtitles going when I watched it at home).
If I remember correctly, the child is not his but a friend's. He's sort of the baby's Nana.
I recommend the film.
Love,
CJ

Thanks, Hon! "Breakfast on Pluto" will be on a couple of times next week so maybe I can catch all of it one day.
Have you seen the "Phantom of the Opera"? It is on the movie channels here quite often. Another movie question, as I seem to miss some of the dialogue. The girl that saved him from the circus and brought him to the opera house - she has a daughter, the pretty blond, any chance that the Phantom is the father??? That would be just too cool!
Love ya,
Virginia
