Great to see you again, Donna! Kinda glad that we did not take that ?that? uh, stalker? admirer? serial killer? from NJ up on any of his offers. He did say we were all cute, though. SL and I are still trying to figure out who that was that approached us and said that the guy flashing his head lights thought we were cute!?
Anyway, I appreciate your post and I logged into Trans-Academics.org. Very very interesting site. I took one of their quizes: "Trans/Intersex Ally Quiz." Did not do real well with it, but it uses some terms that I am not familiar with and I disagree with several of their answers. I got the website from one of the book ads that come up when you go to the site you posted. I got into a couple of the books that allow you to read some of the passages - interesting.
The Trans-Academics site also has the results of a survey, "Battling the Trans-Enough Blues; Informal Survey Statistical Results" by Eli R. Green, which was done a couple of years ago. The terms and definitions that are used to describe us is mind-boggling but the one I like best was "Woman, "after-market" Upgrade!"
For my sisters that might read this, we are making in roads and we are being studied, disected, unraveled, written about not by many but it is a start! The Trans-Academics.org is seeking people who will participate in various studies and to open new studies, etc, so if you are interested you may want to contact them.
Love,
Virginia
