OK. Jeannie knows this about me, but I will share it with the rest of you gals.....I am hyper active anytime I am not in my studio. I guess in many ways my studio is my drug, It relaxes me. I have like a zen concentration there but in the outside world, I am a MESS!
Today, I was in such a hurry to get out of the 9 to 5 I barrelled through the revolving door (which STUCK) and I went forehead first into the solid glass door! GEEZ! I have a knot on my head (and may lapse into a coma) but I realize that I need to RELAX. lol.
I think many of you can relate to me in this. I only feel comfortable in my studio. I have to LEARN to feel comfortable out there but it is hard for me.
The knot is still there but it feels a little better now (probably because I am safe here in my studio.) Neurotic, probably. that's the Tink :-)
k, now that I have shared my 'head banging' experience, I'd just like to say, I have looked at the photo albums and you are all adorable and beautiful women!!!
hugs out~ tink xo

One good thing, Tink. You didn't bust the glass and cut yourself.

Tink,
I hope that you are feeling better today!! I did something similar in college. The only difference is there were a lot of other students around. UGH not only did I have a horrid headache but my pride was severely bruised.

Hi Lisa! Oh yes. I am fine. just the little bruise! I was lucky. There was NO one around to see my escapade. Even so, I just made like it didn't happen. lol! "I MEANT to do that" :-) you know how that is.
Have a pefect day~ hugs, tink

Tink, you were very lucky the glass didn't break, Thank God! Years ago I had a friend walk into a glass door and it broke and severly cut both of his arms........ sadly, he developed complications from the accident and passed on several months later. So, my fair lady, calm down and open the door before you move forward.........

Tink,
Not wishing to make light of the situation, but I know a good attorney! and there may even be some on this forum. I am glad you are better and they can be thankful it was not Jeannie or they would have had to replace the entire door!!!
Love,
Virginia

aw, girls, you are all SO sweet. Yes, I do need to slow it down a bit. I am taking it easy tonight. I had a big salad with one of Jeannie's awesome cutlets on top and now I am watching a flick called Gaudi Afternoon. It's very cute so far. Has anyone seen it?
have a magical evening~ hugs~ tink xoxo

Glad you're feeling okay and didn't cut yourself up. It must be the newer tempered glass that's now required in doors.

Yes I am sure it is safety glass in there. It's thick stuff. Like walking into a brick wall. The story about Joann's friend is very sad.
Today it's back to cold & windy here in NJ but I am spending the whole day in the studio creating.
Hope you all have a perfect day! Hugs~ tink

Ha, you know Virginia, in retrospect the story is quite funny (unless you think of all the horrible things that COULD have happened, like sone of the gals pointed out) But it really speaks VOLUMES about how whenever I am not here in the studio creating, I am always in a hurry to get back here.
Now, if Jeannie did it, they'd make HER put in the new door. I call Jeannie the Jack & Jill of all trades. She can do/fix ANYTHING!! It's quite amazing, really!
love, tinkster

walked out of a place to go somewhere,..too far back to care now,...
tried to get out the door in a hurry and fell on my butt in the slush and snow...had to go home in wet pants and change. talk about embarrassed..........worst of it is,..the car seat stayed wet for days.!!!
