Funny and maybe a little sad but the two videos i made on vacation were of a cave and trains... lol You can't take the engineer out of the girl i guess... hehe

time to get my stuff together...as I said bet you didn't see a caboose on the end of the train.....just a little black box hanging on......nice pictures....where were they taken?...Silver Springs? Martensburg???

The first one was by the station in Brunswick and the single locomotive and the last one (same train as in Brunswick) was by the old C and O lock 29 near Lander... My wife thought I was crazy... So what's new!! Hehe

No cabooses!! They are all relics now...

Hey Karren,
You could have driven just about an hour further south on I-81 and visited Roanoke's Transportation Museum and the O. Winston Link gallery. Some of the finest trains and pictures of trains anywhere. There is one of a coal burning locomotive crossing a trestle and the picture is taken from below and the full moon completely engulfs the locomotive and the smoke - it is awesome!
OH, if you decide to come back to the Shenandoah Valley to visit, let us know.
