Leave it to a coal miner to spend holiday in a cave!!
Happen to run into Batman?
Looks like a real cool place. Bet it'd make a great wine cellar.

The first one was by the station in Brunswick and the single locomotive and the last one (same train as in Brunswick) was by the old C and O lock 29 near Lander... My wife thought I was crazy... So what's new!! Hehe
No cabooses!! They are all relics now...

Hey Karren,
You could have driven just about an hour further south on I-81 and visited Roanoke's Transportation Museum and the O. Winston Link gallery. Some of the finest trains and pictures of trains anywhere. There is one of a coal burning locomotive crossing a trestle and the picture is taken from below and the full moon completely engulfs the locomotive and the smoke - it is awesome!
OH, if you decide to come back to the Shenandoah Valley to visit, let us know.
Love,
Virginia
