Hi All--
My band will be doing a live webcast on Saturday, March 8, at 9pm Pacific time. The concert lasts for an hour. This is a great theatre, and it's where national artists do live shows for KFOG, a local radio station. Hopefully, you folks in the east can stay up late on a weekend!

As we get close to the date, I'll provide the link for the website.

The songs we'll probably play will include:

As you can see, no ballads, no Eagles, no Dave Matthews. I think we'll also play my own song about a T-girl's night out on the town, and what she finds out there in the big world. It's called "Bombjam," and we do a nice version of it. It's the next "Lola," if I do say so myself.

Donna and Rkki--thanks for the links. The link that Rikki provided goes to the "official" videos. The other ones are fan videos shot with a cell phone--they're kind of fun in their own way, but they're only a minute long, and the sound quality is terrible on them.

As you know I thought your utube presentation of Ethel doing ZZ Top was great. I really liked the guitar work as well as the band as a whole.

That was excellent. I look forward to the webcast, but you didn't give the url of the webcast itself. It was great seeing your band play. I love your guitar and amp. You have killer tone. It would be great to get together someday and jam. I loved watching you play, and would love to perform dressed, something I have never done.

I also loved your white shoes on the video. Not bad legs either. Seems we at least have the same taste in amps and guitars.

Folks: Sorry to be a "wet blanket" here, but am just not a metal fan. Never was. (but then again I don't listen to the Dave Matthews Band either).
Although I did see Robert Plant's band at a "world music" convention in England a few years ago and enjoyed that.
I'm really amazed at the number of passionate music fans on this site.
Maybe there should be a separate music thread on this forum?
A trans sexual MtoF musician was interviewed in a recent issue of TAPESTRY. There does seem to be a sub category of transgendered musicians playing metal or metal-ish rock.
Someone else commented to me that there are also a lot of TG's interested in British/Celtic folk and folk-rock.

I'm curious-- have other folks on this forum attended public music events cross dressed ?
How were those experiences?

CJ, I'm happy you're going to try and stay up. In the U.S., it's cruel that daylight savings time starts at 2 am, so the folks in the east both stay up AND lose an hour the next day.

But the 8th is International Women's day, or so my calendar says. I'll be celebrating it in high style.

One of Mark's original songs, about a group of four young Southern Californians who have an unusual meeting place for their rendezvouses. (I did have to look up that plural spelling!) The lyrics are G-rated. I get to pretend to be Bonnie Raitt on this one; I play slide guitar.

An Anita original as promised, all about a T-girl who's out on the town. She's, uh, the 'granddaughter' of the Kink's "Lola," that's it!

The title comes from a Joe Walsh song called "The Bomber," done when he was with the James Gang. It had lyrics about a 'closet queen' in it, although the gal in this song is definitely 'out and about.'
