Candidates Choice in Clothes

The French President Sarkosy was recently in the US with his new Bride a former fashion model with exquisite taste in haute couture, now contrast that with the drabness of our candidates and their wives or husbands. Lets be honest girls would you have looked for something to put on if your mother wore those drab pants suits of Hillary's. I'd have moved into Sarkosy's wifes closet. Just my input on this unending campaign, with I hope a new perspective.

Uh oh! I sense we're about to have some input from our good Miss Jeannie on this one!
What can I say, Fran? We, ahem, French, have always been more stylish than you Angles and Saxons.

(Although, in all fairness, and in the interest of full disclosure, I'm forced to admit that the first complete outfit of my mother's I ever wore was, in fact, a pantsuit. Oh the shame!

)
Love,

I too actually wore 2 of my mom's pantsuit outfits early on, alas. But once i conguered the notorius back zipper, i dont think i have ever again worn a pantsuit.
And hey, we only have 7 more months of this unending process of listening to people who think they want to be president. Then we get 3 or 4 months of peace, unless someone cannot handle losing and decides to pursue election through the courts, and then (drum roll please) the next bunch start announcing they can do a better job and we get even longer campaign runs at the job.
WoooooooooooPeeeeeeeee!

Hey sweetie! No worries. I don't take any offense. I was raised as a Cajun between Lake Charles and Lafayette, so I'm as Cajun as it gets. I. was even a Rajin' Cajun at USL before they became University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Whare you from, cher?

Girls, I don't care what your opinion is about Pants Suits. That little blue outfit that Hillary had on was not particularly becoming of her. Personally it made you focus on the hips and not the message. Not that I'm a haute couture but please Hill don't wear that blue suit.

Hi Ladies
Hillary loves those pants suits Fran. I think Barack should outdo her with a leisure suit. Fight fire with fire. Hugs.

Hillary does not have much choise in fashion dressing. She is constantly climbing stairs, platforms, and decks. She has less time to make sure her "view under" is not exposed to the public. Wives of candidates, on the other hand, have less climbing to do, and have more time to think how they are dressed in the camera view.

Anne Stef is close in her reasoning about why she wears pant suits instead of dresses and skirts on the stump, but yall mus have forgotten that it was her that made Bill ban the skirts from the White House because she couldn't get away with wearing one. She was afraid her balls would show
