Congratulations on your new position here. Being a software professional you obviously have the patience of a saint and a whole lot more ability in the binary world than me..
Truth be told, I'm not a "new" software tech as I'll be turning 50 this summer.
Oh, if I have the patience of a saint, it's probably Saint Joan of Arc.
I understand she could get a bit testy to use a polite term.
Congratulations Caith
Hope you enjoy the new challenges and the getting up in the middle of the night to 'fix-it' so us Europeans can still get on the site while the girls over there are getting their beauty sleep.

Now, a question: do you pronounce your name KATH or KAYTH?
Inquiring minds wanna know.
Love,
CJ
Well, since that name is the Gaelic origin of Kathy, you could probably say KATH.
It doesn't matter to me, as long as you don't call me late for dinner.
Congrats Caith! Just don't let the software overwhelm you at any point and I look forward to the changes/corrections I know you will put in place.

I've got the newest version of FlashChat available to install, but that won't be scheduled until after we've been up and running successfully with the new phpBB software for a few weeks. Right now we'd really like to limit the number of nuisance/spam/trash/abandoned registrations the board receives. Those annoying spammers are more trouble than most people here realize. But that's because SilverLady and Sharon do a fantastic job reviewing and managing registrations on a daily basis.
Thank you, Bobie and Amelie. Amelie, working on the forum couldn't possibly turn me into a nervous wreck. I've already got clients who attempt it on a daily basis, all week long. They call me nights and even weekends sometimes. They had me working from home the day after surgery last year, and when I had viral gastroenteritis earlier this year. The only thing here that'll drive me batty is if I screw something up, and I'm trying really hard not to do that.
