I just wanted to say thank you for all of the discussions. I don't often get involved in the many discussions but I do monitor them and have gained insight into who I am. I have for many years thought I was alone and one of a kind but this forum has helped me to better understand myself. I have always been in the closet and have enjoyed this forum to express the real me. Keep up the good work all of you do.

Much Love,

Mindy

Hi Mindy,

Glad to hear that the forum has helped you gain insight into the mystery of who you are as well as appreciate the beauty of who you are. I've said it before; this forum has been a life-saver for me (and, I think, for many of my sisters here). Exchanging thoughts, ideas, opinions, feelings, moods, and, of course, life experiences, with others has been an incredible boon in the neverending task of putting my own life into proper focus. It's helped me "dedramatize" the fact that I'm gender-variant and it's forced me to acknowledge the fact that, deep down, I'm not as different from everybody else as I used to believe (for good or ill--but mostly for ill). That you, Mindy, are part of the "rather silent" majority of the forum members is quite all right, too. It's only normal, I think, that some folks "soak it up" while some folks talk too much. O:)

Glad to have you as a member, regardless of the way you choose to participate.

Love,
CJ

Hi Mindy, you are one of a kind, or more appropriately, unique, as we all are ;)

We just have a lot in common with others :)

Hi Mindy,

Yes, we are all so unique as to be alike! As CJ said this forum has helped a lot of us, even upto and through "Virginia's Challenge!" If you reach that place in your relationship with yourself it can be a real turning point.
You get dressed, stand in front of that full length mirror and look as the girl looking back at you, not a what she is wearing, but into her eyes and you ask yourself two questions. "What is she worth to you?" and "What are you willing to do for her existence?"

Some never reach that place and for them it is a good thing, but for those of us who do it can be a life altering decision!

Stay and share with us!

Virginia
