How's this for a newspaper article title?

I read the article hoping that there was some way around the beard, but to no avail she had no intention of dressing him in haute couture. If I had been writing the advice column I would have suggested that this was not the woman for him. CJ, you have a new Pic for your avatar, I really like it.

I think my wife would prefer to dress me at times also.

Hi all,
Yeah, it's an issue with Roxanne and me, too. It sometimes bugs me that she thinks I have a poor sense of style (remember her post from last fall?); I tell her that style is an intensely personal thing. Fashion "trends" notwithstanding, style is an idiosyncratic statement. What she really means when she says I have a poor sense of style is that I have a style she doesn't like. That's not the same thing.
Anyway, I just thought the headline was worthy of Fictionmania or some such site. I thought Smith's "advice" was on the mark, by the way. Or close to it, at any rate.
I love all you GGs out there but, in the immortal words of Sly and the Family Stone, I want to "thank you falletin' me be mice elf again."
Love,
CJ
P.S.
Thanks for the compliment, Fran, but that's an old pic (from April 2004) that I simply cropped down and resized. I haven't taken any pix of myself dressed in over two years now. I'll be trying to rotate my avatar shot on a regular basis, just for the fun of it.
