Created links no longer underlined or blue?????? - Answered

Post by Elizabeth »

Hello Site Administrators,

I can't help noticing that when creating a link to something, it no longer underlines and changes the text to blue. This makes it no obvious that a link has been created. Is this a deliberate change or a change from the latest software upgrade? In any event. It would be nice if created links were underlined and blue as people have become accustomed.

Thanks in advance,

Love always,
Elizabeth

They never have been, Elizabeth.

I've been changing the font color and underlining on my own, when it's not obvious that a link has been made.

H, Elizabeth -

Donna is correct, links have never been automatically underlined or changed color at the forum, and any such underlining or text color have been made only by each member (author) when posting.

As a side note, I have and will continue to modify all long links to make the post(s) easier to read (ie, less sideway scrolling, and an overall cleaner/neater look to the post). I always imbed those links in text by using the - tags, and when I do so I also put it in bold, underlined, and color text to identify that the text is also a clickable link.

Thanks Donna and Siverlady,

I guess I am losing my mind. Sorry about that. I would have sworn that it at least underlined them. In any event, thanks for taking the time to look into it for me.

Love always,
