My avatar is my own drawing. It's a pencil copy of a detail from a Leonardo Da Vinci painting.
I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

Digital cameras and photo editing software are wonderful things.

Sometimes a friend or SO can take your picture or you can use the self timer and a tripod or other steady camera rest.

I know that at least one member's avatar picture came from a cell phone camera.

I know that another member bought a disposable camera, had someone else photograph them and had the pictures developed to a CD.

My latest avatar came from a friend at a meeting of my support group who took my picture with my digital camera.

I made mine, with the south park character maker on south park's website, and added a few things to it with photoshop.

Hi, Absaroka -

I did a Yahoo search for avatars, and came up with the following: Avatars

See also the following for help in uploading your chosen avatar:
Avatars:

This one's a breeze. Click on "Profile" at the top of the page. Scroll down to the bottom of your profile page. You'll see an area where you can modify your avatar. Again, like any image you post on the forum, if you choose to "off-link" the image (i.e., get it from elsewhere on the net), it must come from a non-password-protected site in order to display. It's probably easier just to upload an image from your own computer (to do this, click on "Browse..." at the right of the "Upload Avatar from your machine" window, then go hunt for the pic on your hard drive and upload it). Remember: the allowable maximum size for the file is 100 pixels to a side and no more than 35Kb. - - http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=3342
If you need help resizing a photo or avatar, CJ and others are available to assist.

Hope this helps you!!
