Photo Gallery Search Feature - Answered
I took some pictures of CarolRose and she created a photo album for this site. I can find her photo album by going to the last page in the the user gallery. When I type CarolRose into the search feature it comes up empty. I am able to get other people's pictures this way. I am missing something here (a blonde moment?).

Finding photos
Hi Jane,
I may be corrected by the Admins but I think that the search function checks the filename, Title, description, or key words for the search term, but not the Album name. You can go in and add information, especially keywords to your files using Admin mode.

Hi, Jane and Connie -
Connie, yes, you are correct. The search feature looks at the names/titles and descriptions given to the individual photos, not the Album name. CarolRose can easily edit her photo descriptions and include her name or other key words.
When I tried to search for CarolRose, nothing came up . . . but her name was not used in any of her photos' descriptions, so you were not having a "blonde moment", Jane! However, when I did a search for SilverLady(SO), there were 3 results, and those 3 were from my Album (this time). It could easily have been photo descriptions in which my name was mentioned . . . which occurred when I did a search for SL, with 22 photos appearing, but only 10 were of me.
Before anyone asks, Photo Albums are not displayed alphabetically but, rather, according to the member's "joined" date. As such, their locations are fluid and may move from one page to another if someone who joined earlier decides to open (or remove) an Album.
Thank you for answering the query, Connie!
*Hugs*
