Some mechanics of the site - Answered

Post by Shannon Oeswicki »

i've just joined the forum. i would like to learn more about the site as to not break any of the rules. i apologise if these questions have been answered here before.

1- what does "sticky" mean?
2- what does it mean when the circles next to the topics are spining?
3- how do i find answers to questions "that have been posted in the past" so i don't reask them?

thanks, .....shannon

1- what does "sticky" mean?

It means a mod/administrator has marked the thread so it will remain (stick) at the beginning of the Topic and not be replaced by newer threads.

2- what does it mean when the circles next to the topics are spining?

It means there are new posts that you have not yet read.

3- how do i find answers to questions "that have been posted in the past" so i don't reask them?

Try the "Search" feature.
