Carol Ann -

The flashing icons indicate that there are still posts and/or topics that you have not yet read. If you read any posts while not logged into the forum, the flashing icons will still appear when you log in.

There are 2 ways to stop the flashing icons:

1. Read each topic/post while logged in to the forum. If you don't care to read everything that is posted, proceed to #2 below.

2. When you are in a particular subforum, ie Fun Stuff, you will see a link at the top right of that index page - above the "Last post" column - that says "Mark topics read". Simply click on that and all topic icons within that subforum will stop flashing.

There's also a link on the front page of the forums Mark forums read. It's in the upper-right-hand corner, inside the purple heading bar, just above the heading "Last Post"

Caith - Thank you . . . I had forgotten about that new feature!

Carol Ann - You're very welcome!
