I don't understand why that messgae, " the website can not display this page " is there either. Makes no sense to log into chat if no one is there.

Not sure if this helps...

If I go to my homepage, somewhere near the bottom it tells me who is in chat at the moment. If I go straight from there to the chatroom, the people aren't always there. I just assumed that as it says in the last five minutes, that the people had just left and the system takes a few minutes to update?

At least that's what I thought  Maybe I'm in the wrong ballpark tho..

Also, last night I kept getting boinged, so I think it was acting up, overloaded or something, maybe that has something to do with it too?

Just my twopence worth... xxx

The chat room is having problems ATM.

I noticed it about noon and reported it. It is barely working at best and most of the time not working at all.

I am sure that that icon will change back to what you are familiar with as soon as it is working again.

Karin, you are right in that under normal conditions the list of who is in chat updates about every fine minutes.

Karin, you won't be able to use the chat room on your iPad, because it's programmed in Shockwave Flash, which the iPad does not support.

Regarding the other issues, I don't have the ability to change/fix anything in FlashChat. It's balky and finicky at times, and I don't have any explanation for why, unfortunately. :(

Apologies,
Caith <oooo>

Hiya Caith ^^_||

It's not unusual for the iPad to struggle hahaha. I don't know what to advise for flashchat, but I have a hammer?? if that'll help make a strategic incision @33@ heehee.

Not to worry, we got BOW smilies....yaaaay ^^_|| <<=>> :dancing: ((oo)) ***<<<

Thanks for the speedy explanation Caith xxx

Chat has been acting up on me today also.

At lunch I was in there but and char, but were not able to have a chatty exchange. Leeza said she was in there but I did not even see her or any of the posts she was posting but she said she could see mine.

Tonight try chatting and it is like I can not see what they are posting or they can not see what I am posting.

troubles in the chat room

Post by KimberlyS »

is anyone else having problems in the chat room or is it just me? It started yesterday, continued through last night and today. I get into the chat room but do not see who is there and if I do see them I can not see any of their chat postings. But I have heard my chat posts are getting through. Wondering of I did something to my computer or it is the site.

Having the same experience as Kim at the moment! I can see that other members are in the chat room, I can type a message to them but am getting no reply - but then get a pm from them saying that they can't read any of my messages!

Just tried it in the chat room, but apparently nobody there.

Then when I tried to quit, it asked me for my username and password, and then told me they were incorrect...hmphh!
