SO Restrictions - Answered

Hi Silverlady,
Being new to the forum and having a look at the rules & regulations, I apologise if this question has already been asked and I've missed it.
I know the SO's have access to their area to ask questions, which we haven't got access to, but do they have access to all the rest of the forum topics?
My wife struggles with understanding my situation and she would like to contact other SO's for support/help in dealing with it.
Before I suggest this site, I would like to know what they can, or can not access. Not that I hide any thing from her, but I want to make sure it woud not do more harm than good.
With respect to this, might it not be good for us girls to be able to read what the SO's post about us, once in a while, without us being able to comment. It may open our eyes to their thoughts, although I do realise the privacy of this part of the forum may be paramount to its success.
Many thanks for listening, and keep up the good work,
Laura xx.
