Exposure to other ideas - Answered

Hi there,

I will begin by quoting Beauty
We're just not people who dress in woman's clothes. We are thinkers and do'ers and this area (editors insert Mordor) allows our members to express more about themselves than just CD'ing issues.

There are some of us here who would like to be able to benefit from the; (Now quoting Leslie)
exposure to other ideas.

Is that impossible here? Mordor does not provide for this, and when we start a thread in another section of this forum, and someone responds to it who is intent (now quoting Jamie Ann) on diverting us from our chosen path. The thread gets moved to Mordor.

I for one would like to see a section where the simple exchange of other's ideas is possible. Is there anything you are willing to do to try and provide for this?

I feel the current situation provides or allows for the abuse of our right to healthy communication. Which is no different than what we accuse that part of society that would like to divert us from our chosen path as cross-dressers, of doing. It is the same principle, and every bit as wrong. And by the way is that not against the forum policy? No "converting" those who haven't accepted what you believe.

Sincerely Darlene.

Hi Darlene,

I think we're going to leave things are as they are now. Things are working well now and so we're going to leave the exchange of ideas where they are.

The last post to be moved, that was nice and then got turned into Mordor bait was the post by Marlene. It was a very beautiful and uplifting post, but became a bit of a debate and was moved to Mordor. That was the final time that will happen. From now on if a thread is started with good intentions and then turns Mordor, the original post will not be moved, but the posts underneath it that are debates will move.

I hope this answers your question. [-o< We won't be creating a new section at this time. It's hard to police who's trying to covert someone versus having someone feel they aren't being heard and so that person keeps repeating what they've said before. We do try hard to monitor it though.
:sorry:
Sorry about not answering this sooner.

Thanks Beauty,

As long as you are willing to deal with it that way, I see no reason for another section. I think your method is a good one and will improve this place.

Love Darlene.
