Ok, so how do you insert a quote? I tried highlighting the passage and hitting quote, but it dumped the quote at the bottom of the page...

thanks,

In any previouse message you will see button in the right side if you click that it will take the text into the next post you can then edit what you want in the as long as you leave [ quote ][ /quote ] in the middle of what you want in your post.

Does that makes sense?

Or if you but your pointer on the button quote it will help.

Maybe that will help more

The quote must start with the word QUOTE inside a pair of braces [] Followed by the text you want to quote, then the quote must end with the word /QUOTE inside a pair of braces []

[ quote ][ /quote ]

Nope...don't have the hang of it yet. So, I've hit "Post Reply" and I've got this window that I'm typing in. And now I want to quote something that someone said -- do I have to go back to the -- uh -- what do you call it - main window and quote from there? At the bottom of this page is a review of the main window, but no quote button down there.

Ya know, for a girl who does graphic design and desktop publishing, you'd think I'd have these computer gizmos worked out better...

Georgia,

The info provided is correct, alternatively you can copy the material you want to quote, and paste it in the reply box. Then high light the text and click on the quote button at the top of the box in the reply window.
