Hi - especially to CJ whose bucolic photo I admired,

Am I right in assuming that posting an "image" can only be done from a web site? I know I can post an avatar from a picture in my files, but can I insert a jpeg picture from my hard drive into the body of a post - as you did? If so, how? And what would be the suggested size limit?

It needs to be posted at a hosting site first. A site like http://www.photobucket.com which is a free site.

Then you use the IMG tags to link it here. As described at http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/f ... ode=bbcode

Lydia -

You'll find that CJ has posted step-by-step directions on how to post images in both Posts and the Photo Gallery, and here are the links:

Images in Posts: http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=3342

Photo Gallery: http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=3594

I hope this helps you - I'm looking forward to seeing your photos!

Hi all,

Lydia,

Donna is correct. I've been using PhotoBucket for quite some time now. I upload the chosen pic to one of my PhotoBucket albums, then link to it from the forum. It works like a charm.

Thanks, SilverLady, for the how-to reminder. 8)

Love,
CJ
