Hi, Karen -

When you clicked on "((Click here to Chat))" I will presume the FlashChat software loaded properly. To type your "chat" you need to do so in the small rectangular box on the lower left of your screen. Click 'send' or the enter button, and your text will then appear in the large box on the left side of the screen above the "compose" section.

If anyone from the Forum is in Chat, the total number and their name(s) will appear to the right of the "There is one User online" message.

Anyone can enter the Chat Room at any time, and there is a regularly scheduled Chat for Saturday evenings, usually starting at 8p EST.

I hope this helps you!

I just checked that it is currently working, and it is.

Was anyone else in chat, Karen? If so, could you read their posts?

Did you get the little "blip" sound when you clicked on the send box?

I just checked, also, and FlashChat is coming up like it has been, goofy clock settings and all!

I note that Karen is using a dialup ISP, and based upon my past experiences with dialup and our Chat room, it does take longer for the text to show up after typing them. That's the only thing that I can think of right now to explain why "nothing" showed up after Karen typed it . . . she may not have waited long enough for the text to appear. ***huh***

Karen, do try it again on Saturday night and let us know what happens.
