A Blog Thread??? - Answered

I've been a member of various forums and some of them have had a thread where the members can compose a blog about their daily activities, etc.

Is it possible we could have one on this forum? If so, it would be nice, I think as I would definitely be a participating member. And whatever else I could do to assist.

Thank you.

Our sister forum, the Chameleons of Western Australia, have had a "Diaries" section for some time. Even with their relatively small membership, it has been an active, interesting, and very useful series of posts.

I, for one, don't have as interesting and active a life as many of you do, but I think I would gain an insight into myself by reading the diaries of others.

Good idea, Roberta.

Hi, ladies -

At one time we did have an active thread here:

Off Topics - Non-CD Issues - Check-In Spot
http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=6314

and more recently we have:

Off Topics - Non-CD Issues - Open Conversation
http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=9566

Personally, I would rather one of these existing threads be used for that 'blogging' purpose, rather than starting yet another thread. Given that the Open Conversation thread is the most recent one, I am willing to rename that to "THE OFFICIAL: Open Conversation" which may be used for that purpose.

Is that acceptable? :-k

Sounds reasonable, SL. Besides, it will not be written in stone. If there is little response, you can always drop it.

I have been contacted by Roberta, and it appears she would like everyone to be able to have their own personal 'blog' here at our Forum, not just a general 'blog thread'.

I am sorry, but that is not in keeping with the purpose of our Forum. In addition, we have limited space available on our server and it will not support blogging, nor do we wish it to do so. Please remember that we have over 1073 members currently, and well over 81,000 posts . . . which is why we have restrictions on the size of avatars, photos in the gallery, images in posts, redundant/excessive quoting, etc.

If anyone wishes to start a blog, there are numerous sites available which are specifically designed for blogging . . . but our Forum is not one of them.

However, I will turn the "Open Conversation" thread into an Official thread, as promised.
