You know Ladies, modster is only one n from monster. Just a thought.
This forum is great. You have boards for all kinds of things but you left out the most important thing that none of us can live without and we'd all love to share our specialties. No! Not that Silver Lady! Food!
You should put on a recipe board. Carol Ann could post her recipe for grilled moose lips and Virginia microwave hotdogs with Velveeta. At my age the only thing better than food is standing in a stiff breeze.
You ladies do a fabulous job on this forum. This place is an oasis compared to MySpace. "Demolition derby for morons " as I call it. I crucify those Bozos if they send me a nasty message and then sic Lorna on them just for good luck! It's great! We're a tag team! I love it! Hugs girls. I have to cook again this friday night for the monkeys. Grillin' and chillin'! Life is good!

Hi there, Jeannie,

Vicki beat you to the punch (in a manner of speaking) with the following (old) thread: Recipes, CD's who love to cook...

Maybe we can "relight" the fire and get it going again, eh?

Love,
CJ

Now you're talking about something this lady absolutely loves doing (no, not THAT, silly! :haha:) Preparing and serving great food, then seeing the looks of astonishment on people's faces gives me satisfaction second only to THAT other thing. Whenever someone is at a loss for words trying to compliment my cooking I tell them, "The looks on your faces while you were eating is compliment enough." Now I've gotta visit that other thread. . . . Ta ta!!

Cooking!

Hi CJ
Don't let any of of the GGs hear this CJ but most today think cooking is microwave macaroni and cheese. They also wear sweat pants and bunny slippers around the house at night, then they wonder why their husbands are cheating on them. If you want to throw yourself under the bus, knock yourself out.
There are laws of the universe that are so simple to do but people have no clue CJ. I'm always amazed by the stupidty of humans. They just don't get it. If they throw themselves under the bus I'll run right over them and back up to make sure they're dead. Life is good. Hugs.

Wow! THANKS GIRLFRIEND! What a compliment! One of the best I have ever had! That my microwaving hotdogs makes me a GG, Honey, you are the best!!!

Now, while you're in the wood shed what would YOU like for your last meal?!? I mean, bunny slippers and sweat suits?? Please see if any of my carvings from my many trips to "the shed" are still out there!

Love you Jeannie!!

Hi, all -

CJ, you are correct, but actually Jessie started a recipe thread even before VickiCD, and you posted that link in Vicki's thread. Jessie's thread has quite a few recipes, and a quick glance at them has made me hungry. I've decided to make that one the official thread and have renamed it accordingly; it's also a Sticky, so it will always be found near the top of that section.

Sorry, Jeannie, but you won't get Virginia's recipe for Microwave Hot Dogs with Velveeta Cheese . . . who told you about that one, any way?!? Do let me know what you would like for your Last Supper, hon . . . it's been a while since I've cooked dinner from scratch, but I'm willing to sharpen my skills for you!

*Hugs*

Hi Virginia.
Living in Waterbury, telling everyone about me and being a printer do you really think I care what happens to me? It can't get any worse Virginia. Kris Kristofferson said it best in his song"Me and Bobby Magee"

" Freedom is another word for nothing else to lose."

The truth will set you free Virginia, but it comes with a high price. That's life Hon. Hugs.

Listen!? What's that sound??

Why it's arteries actually slamming shut! Hot dogs with bacon and cheese?? AAAAHHHHHHH!!! [-(

Of course as a powerlifter, I really don't have to (although I do) watch what I eat. All that is important is when I step on the scale an hour before the competition that I don't exceed the weight I need to be!

Party on, ladies!
