Have you found it yet Kay? People will just assume it's your other half's....unless of course, it's a completely outrageous timepiece
Actually....have you asked t'other half to look for it? Us GGs do seem to have superiority in finding lost things....
(I have just proved this theory as Ed was adamant we had no brown sauce in the cupboard but I just pulled it straight out

Kay, look on the bright side. You now have a clean house, no more worries about someone finding it accidentally, and a great excuse to go to the jewelry store...
Curley, what is this feminine thing about knowing where stuff is?? Much as I've tried to emulate female behavior, I still can't find anything on my own!

I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

Kay,
Were you out and about that day? If so, check the floor and under the seat of the car you drove. Otherwise, check in the sleeves (if applicable) or body of the top or dress you may have worn, or the pockets of any pants or jeans, the pockets of any purse you might have used that day. Could it have fallen into the drain of a sink?
Worries, worries.
I always thought that whatever I had lost would be on top of something, in something, or under something, and has already been noted, it is always in the "last place you look".
Then it is always possible it slipped from your wrist while you were out and it is gone for-evverrrrrrrr.
Good luck.
Hmmmm, clean house, huh.
Wanna come to my place and look for it?
Especially if you have the time, oh, but that's what started this isn't it, you don't have a watch.

As a comedian once said "They allways say it is in the last place you look. Well duhh why would you keep looking after you found it?"
Every act of kindness is repaid, in some small way some where in the future even if we do not see it at the time. Look at it as a spiritual form of compound interest

Whew! Reminds me of the time the diamond fell out of Debbie's engagement ring. We searched for it for four grueling days. I finally found it trapped in the front passenger seat adjustments rails of the car, and had to use pretty special tools to get it out of there, not to mention while hanging upside down from the seat back. Nightmare over: Wake up, no long term damage...
Hugs,
Bernice
