General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

:P Virginia, ya lobbed up a softball, and Zari hit it into another area code.

Most times, I like the mixture of attention and blending that I get. I find that wearing pants is much more of a blending device, but I don't always care to do that.

Hot weather is a problem. We don't have a lot of it here, but enough that I have to deal with it sometimes. I don't blend well at all when I wear anything that's light and breezy, and sleeveless is never a good look on me. A t-shirt and shorts is the only compromise, and even that's not so great.

It seems that there are as many opinions as there are post, so perhaps one could draw the conclusion that we all have our own wonderful views and are have our own minds; thanks girls and guys for your comments. The parallel does still stay the same for me, the most happiness and feeling of things just being right is en fem and going about my life without having it be a big deal; even though, yes I am what you could call of a seasoned age, there still is that over riding fact that EVERY GIRL should have and wear at least once in her life a pencil dress with a pair of gorgeous red pumps and have a beautiful lace corset tightly laced of course. O well perhaps I wasted my youth and now only dream that I could wear those fashions. Thanks for the post and a great forum that we all can just be ourselves.
Warm Regards,
Jamie

As anyone who has looked at my pictures in the gallery will already know, I dress to avoid attracting attention. I won't often descend as far as wearing pants, but I'm definitely steering well clear of anything with shock value. I think the stereotypical drag queen image is more for the person who dresses out of fetish motivations rather than gender identity issues.

Avoiding shock value for me (at my age) also means wearing a hemline that is near my knees, if not below my knees. Several of the seventy-something ladies on CBS "60 Minutes" wear very short skirts, and IMHO, it doesn't work for them either.

Hugs,

Bernice
