Hmm. Interesting how our sensitivities vary. Has anyone seen any research that talks about cross-dressing in terms of "imprinting"? I mean, newly hatched ducklings follow the first good-sized moving object they see, assuming it to be Mom (even if it's a basketball). i grew up in the era just before pantyhose, and i am turned on by stockings (the sheerer and silkier the better) and anything with garters - garter belts, girdles and corsets. Panty hose don't get me excited.

I too love to wear stockings. I have not had a pair in a while and when I did they had the says so I did not need a garter. Nylons weather they are panty hose or stockings are a turn on for me. I love the way they feel against my skin. They make me feel sexy in a way. If I wear them with pants (underdressing) I like to wear a full pant liner ( nylons of course) as it feels wonderful as the materials touch and feels against my legs.

I would say yes to this being a turn on for me, It also lets me feel more feminine and that in itself is a huge turn on.

I was out shopping and asked the sales girl about stockings. She showed me thigh hi stockings. I told her I was looking for the type to wear with a garterbelt. She had no idea what I meant. She said "I guess you could wear a garterbelt with these."
