HOT or NOT

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

HOT or NOT

Post by Paula G »

Not sure where to put this so it's here, the other day I read Stana's blog where she mentioned the "hot or Not" wen site http://www.femulate.org/2011/05/81.html well call me weak willed if you like, or even in desperate need of validation from strangers, but I went and put up a profile, so far since going "live" early this morning Ihave recieved 126 votes and rate 7.1 while I have also had a couple of favourable comments, I don;t think I'll be asking either gentleman to tea. Take a look and see if you think I'm mad or bad?

I am now about to remove my profile from the site, having got 1683 votes and a rating of 6.9 I am trying not to sulk about getting a lower rating than Stana.
I suspect that the whole site is just a way of self publicity and wasting time at best, at worst the on line equivalent of a cheap clip joint.

I put a pic up a few years ago, and the ratings dropped like a ton of bricks after a couple of days.

So why do I care what strangers think? Is there a rule that says you have to be rated before you can rate anyone else? Who are these people rating others? Unseen women haters? Men haters? What is the psychological makeup of the people that are rating others? Can people on the west coast be good judges of people on the east coast?

My vote is not to try to see what a bunch of strangers think of me and how I look when I have no idea what prompted their decisions int he first place.

Now that I said all this I can post my picture and get a 2. I have already justified why I don't want to feel bad about it. :)

My opinion only

we care because women care when they dress up. Some of them spend a lot of time and effort into looking good, and when they spend the time...they want it to be noticed an appreciated. When you are a guy trying to do the same thing...it's 10 fold
