My wife and I do most of our own yard work, unless we can get the kids to do it.

When I'm home alone yard work is actually one of my favorite things to do while dressed. Usually I wear a casual skirt and top along with various underthings. It feels very feminine to me to dig in the dirt and get dirty while wearing a skirt.
