Your photos, comparing yourself in drab vs enfemme

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Your photos, comparing yourself in drab vs enfemme

Post by Lacey Hadley »

Hi all,

I just had to update some head shots of me in drab. I set up the shots myself with my camera, lenses and lights. I am a clean shaven, fairly youthful looking male as I am for one not a sun worshiper so my skin even on my face looks good for my middle age. I'd say as 'dude' I'm oh, average to typical looking. My friends say I look pretty decent as dude too, my closest have not seen Lacey and would probably fall out of their chairs if they did :haha:

Anyways with my latest clothing haul I also dressed myself up as Lacey and really slowed down to get my makeup a touch more consistent than I some times do if I rush. So I had my camera and lighting still up and made portraits of Lacey in some new outfits and IMO a 8.5/10 makeup job where as I normally rush and meh get a 7/10 make up job.

Well after down loading the photos and touching some up here and there in post, I saw my latest photos of me in drab, I don't take many pics of me in drab, but the sorta narcissist Lacey is a photo junkie :haha: :sigh: and began flipping from my in drab photos to my enfemme ones and Jeebus to see the difference is amazing. I mean it's as if I'm two different people. Again as a 'dude' I'm ok, maybe even good looking. I wish I was not so folic-ally challenged as I'm a Leo and Leo's are a bit on about hair etc. Lacey with a nice wig on is OMG so different. But the make up and trying to be skillful at it is amazing too. In all my years of dressing with make up, I never really compared two sets of photos taken at the same day, in drab and enfemme. It's certainly an eye opening experience.

How about you ladies, do you ever or have you compared your in drab images to your enfemme ones? Are you amazed at how makeup, hair/wigs, clothes and accessories can change it all?

This is a big part of crossdressing for me, above the peaceful joy I get as Lacey. :teddybear:

Yes and yes.

I've never taken "before and after" shots for the specific purpose of comparing, but in general, my fem self looks better than while in drab - just my opinion, of course!!! :P

It really is quite a transformation - as long as the shot is at least half decent, LOL! For every one that is semi-OK, there are about dozen that are pretty bad. :? Maybe I just need to work on my modelling technique!

Comparing my drab and femme photos, they really are two different people, even though I always feel like "me."

What I find most noticeable is that I recognize, finally, that I am (in drab) a large guy. I've always thought of myself as slim. Even slight.

Not true! And only in comparing photos do I see myself at least a little, as others tell me they see me.

So my femme photo, taken about 5 years ago, is what? A good bit more graceful looking than my drab, bullish self.

Always thought I look a bit like Vera Katz, once mayor of Portland. But no. I was much better looking than she was! Now, mmmm. Older certainly.

In this regard I was talking with someone about 15 years younger, about my deceased wife, who was almost thirty years younger than I, and he asked what anyone could possibly see in someone that much older than themselves. I told him we had never been able to figure out what each of us saw in the other that was so attractive. Daddy/Baby didn't begin to cover it, though there was that, too.

You never know what someone who loves you sees in you to love. You just have to accept it, and love them right back.

Well, lately I've been using the webcam a lot in an attempt to try and get my female presentation up to speed. The great advantage to this is it's instant and you don't have to go through all this business to get an image. So that, if it's rubbish...

I find that, of a day, I can be quite masculine and then struggle to make anything much of a female image. Because I've got this square, blockish face it really does matter the sensibility I fill it with. So some days I can see that there's something female there in the male image and that it's worth dressing up to try to take some pictures.

Hi, Noeleena.

To upload photos, you click on "Photo Gallery" (near the top of each page) which opens another page. From there you click on "My Gallery" (top of page) and then "Upload file" (top of page).
