Unfortunately I have been busy with work and haven't had much time to be Steffie (only 3 times this year). That includes the forums. I have occasionally logged on to check e-mail but for only very short times. However, I'm going to try and make more time to be Steffie again and also try and get back into the forums. I see from looking at the forum, there have been a lot more interesting topics since Jan. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi again to everyone and "reintroduce" myself. I'm glad to hear you're still among the living - it's been so long since we had heard from you!!
I've been meaning to ask you: how's your wife doing since her gastric bypass (or lap-band?) surgery? I don't remember seeing any updates, unless I missed it.

Good to hear from you too. Thanks for asking about my wife. The surgery went well and she has lost about 30 lbs so far. Her blood sugar is near normal now ever since the surgery. It was always in the 200's before but now it is in he low 100's. That in and of itself makes me happy. She should continue to loose more weight according to the doctor as time goes on.
