General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Hi girls,

Yesterday my college art class went on a field trip to the Los Angeles County Museum, the one near the La Brea Tarpits, just south of Hollywood, but north of downtown Los Angeles.

As I got off the bus a girl from my art class that I did not know, who had gotten out of the bus before me, looked at me and said "you know, whenever I see you, you always look so nice". It was a very nice uplifting comment.

I do dress nice, but appropriately, not just at school, but everywhere I go. It is nice to know that others also think I dress nicely and appropriately. So far this whole experience of college has really been nice. I am totally accepted and really don't get any negative comments.

Just thought I would share that with you all.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth--
It is good to hear that it's not an effort for you to dress as you want while going to school. Compliments like that are so gratifying when they come. I'm happy for you that you're continuing to live the life you want to live.

I get the feeling that most younger people are more open and accepting nowadays. I haven't had much trouble with people freaking out on me in the 20-somethings bracket.

Hi Elizabeth!

Going back to school can be challenging. I think it's wonderful that you have the freedom to dress as Elizabeth and being accepted by many students around you.

Congratulations, girlfriend! Most of us do take pride in our gift! For someone to recognize that is a credit to us in that we can be proud that we are who we are!

Elizabeth

Being yourself - and being rewarded for it. Does it get any better than that?
