I am diabetic. When you have that chronic problem, your foot health is very important, as most diabetics wind up with at least one foot amputated if they don't take care of them. So, I wear nothing hgher than 1 1/2 to 2 inches, and that rarely. They have to fit really well even then.
Actually, wearing really high heels is damaging to your feet and your legs even if you wear them for only a short time, especially if you are trying to walk or do anything. I have ditzy friends who totter about in 4 and 5 inch inch heels with pointed toes all day, then compain about their feet and legs hurting. DUH!!!!

They effectively cripple themselves while they are wearing them, and bone spurs and tendonitis, bunions and other foot and toe problems will result and persist to cripple them later. Most are constantly searching for "comfortable shoes" during their shopping trips, and may have up to 50 pair, wear them once, find out they hurt, and that's it.
They are not real good with cause and efffect problems, and some also mistakenly think they need to suffer for their concept of looking good. 'Tain't necessarily so Newton.
