What are my chances

Well girls I just did what must be a fantasy of many of us. I went to the local Victoria's Secrets store in my area and spoke to the manager. I told him I was a crossdresser and would like to apply for a job position in his store and work there enfemme. He was a little puzzled with my request, but said to fill out an application and he would review it and check with upper management to see if this would be possible depending on my qualifications.

I filled out the application and handed it in. Now lets see what happens. Do you think I will be offered a job and allowed to work there enfemme.

Hi CharLee,

Sounds very gusty and straight forward. I do however think it is unlikely they will hire you. Unfortunately there are far too many people who are ill at ease with us. Now I am not saying it's impossible, who knows? I just think there is a big difference in servicing our community and welcoming us into their fold.

I would think that if a person were passable and just got a job there as a female, one would have a better chance. But hey, good luck and let us know what happens.

Love always,
Elizabeth

VS is pretty open, but I doubt they'd hire a CD. A TS, probably, but a CD, unlikely.

Is that part of FL open, antidiscrimination-wise?

Nice to hear you applied, however. You never know until you do.

HI CharLee,

Yes please keep us posted on the results of your application. I, like our sisters are glad you put your application in it is a gutsy thing to do, especially confronting the management on the front end!

I assume that they had openings and that is what lead you to apply!

Good luck and if you do get the job, I hope you will be happy working for them!

Thanks for your vote of confidence Virginia. I hope it will come to pass that I get the job.

Good luck in getting the job.

It might have been a bit better if you went dressed as a woman when asking for the job, maybe then they would know up front that you were serious, just my opinion. Cause I know you are serious.

I had a friend who when going for a store job had to go dressed right from the start, otherwise the store people thought he wasn't serious. He got jobs in stores where he was able to dress as a woman, OK these were East Village clothe stores, might be a bit different than VS.

You might have a shot Hon.

Hi Charlee
You would be a good draw for customers. The word would get around and people would want too see what's going on there. Better yet you would get the employee discount and who doesn't look good in a fitted black suit, short black skirt and stockings or slacks. Good luck Charlee. Hugs.

Love
Jeannie

Hi Charlee
No offense, but I think your chances are slim to none. VS is sorta upscale, as least price-wise and they have a whole contigengent of cute girls working there and its a franchise. Maybe a local dress or lingerie shop might be better..the word would get out. We have a few like that here, some girls are overboard, others just...well...girls. I wish you the best, and I would really, really hate the idea of working in a lingerie shop. Employee discounts only go so far
