Have a good time. I remember my real public outing. I know you will have a good time. Just remember, be yourself, your among other TG's, so you can relax and enjoy it all.

Hi Janet--
I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. With so long to anticipate it, it just occurs to me that it might be good to have a nice-to-look-forward-to event on the day after the meeting, too. That can help buffer the let-down that can happen after an exciting event that you've known about for a long time.
I had a festival to play music at last Sunday, and I was happy that for once, there was a Monday holiday the day after, and I could spend time with some friends. It really helped to have a pleasant after-event thing scheduled, rather than just going back to work next day.

Anita makes a good point, especially about a "first time" out. I was always on such a "high" after a meeting, and it lasted a few days...then the crash came. Kinda like the day after Christmas when you were a kid. But its sooo great that you're getting out, and I wish you many more times like this. You're gonna love it!!!!!
