Wife and watched to new episode of "The Practice". One doctor had a patient that was a Fire Chief. He told and showed the doctor that the way he coped with the stress was wearing a bra and panties under his fireman's uniform. He was concern that it would get out and if there was another way to cope with the stress. Later the Fire Chief is injured rescuing another firefighter. In the ER, this doctor cuts off the burned uniform and exposes the bra. All of his men also see the bra. The Fire Chief is ready to quit, but the doctor tells him that his cross dressing does help him cope with the stress and his men will not care what under clothing he is wearing because they know he will be there to pull them out of a burning building if they get into trouble.

Again a very positive look at crossdressing.

Your story is quite ironic. I, myself, do know of a local fire chief who wears bras and panties under his uniform. You wouldn't know it by looking at him either. I see him around town and we chat frequently.
I really don't get into his psyche about why he does it though.
Goes to prove.......you never, never know.

I think we all know that this is close to being the rule rather than the exception. I mean look at the talent on this forum. We know that what studies have been done on "us." We are above the norm in intelligence, income, status. We know that there are those from virtually every profession that we represent. Judges with corsets and garters under their robes, pilots in panty hose. Look at Dr. Marcie Bowers, she may be an exception but................ I think we can guarantee she is not the only Dr. that has worn panties to work.

Again and again, I reiterate, we not only have a "gift," but it is my considered opinion that we may well be the next phase in human evolution.

I feel that with programs like this that show that CD/TS is a positive light will have an impact on the public. The more they see us in a positive light, the more they will come to understand that we are not a threat, we are just a little different, and otherwise just as normal as the next person.
