Once again someone is trying to slip bras for men into the fashion world. There are even sites on older Japanese men wearing them every day as part of corporate wear!!
In this case, its in black, and I can't really see it serves a physical purpose at all.

I just can't wait until they ship to North America. A fabric other than fleather would be appreciated, though.

I don't know if I'd wear one or not. What would be the purpose, it would just be another item of men's clothing. I think I would much prefer the bras I wear now. To me it's kind of like wearing a kilt. Technically, it's a skirt, but it just isn't the same as wearing a nice woman's skirt.

Hi all,
Here's a blog entry on Gizmodo that shows the actual ads for this Japanese version of "The Bro."

Yestermorning on Channel 5.1 here in Dallas,TX, they had an segment about men wearing pantyhose. They asked many women if they cared if a man wore pantyhose. 99% of the women surveied said, "NO, they did not care if a man wore pantyhose". This even applied to their husbands and boyfriends. One woman quoted that many NFLers wear them under their uniforms.

Hi all ;-)
As a very proud Scotsman! it was a great shock to the system that I read BrendaAnn's posting :-) lol
'To me it's kind of like wearing a kilt. Technically, it's a skirt, but it just isn't the same as wearing a nice woman's skirt'
Let me reassure everyone, technically it is NOT A SKIRT lol, never has a comment made me breath in deeply and be so proud to be a Scotsman lol, wow I can't recall the last time my masculine side raised up and felt so proud!
Your right of course BrendaAnn, the kilt is definitely not a skirt! and never will be!
Having stood in Hampden Park with 70,000 Scots fans, with kilts perhaps more popular than ever, and worn by proud Scotsmen, it would be a brave individual to mention the word skirt, it would almost certainly result in a Glasgow kiss!!! which results in two black eyes and a crooked nose!
I don't think Scotland is a land of male skirt wearers, only when it comes to us girls and a pretty soft flowing skirt would always get my vote.
Hugs and xx's
Jemima
