I told my Doctor

I had a Doctor Appointment this morning with my GP. I needed new perscriptions for my meds. I had found out a few months ago that she was one of the premire TG doctors in Dallas, TX. When I first came to Dallas, TX and got a new job, I had to select a doctor. At the time I had no idea she was in the TG area. It just so happen that she is a DO and I was very pleased with DO's. Where we lived in WV, the town had a DO Med School, so 99% of the Doctors in town were DO's.
So after finding out she is a TG doctor, I decided to tell her this time. I had discovered that a TS friend of mine was also one of her patients. So I told Dr. King that I knew one of her patients. She asked who, I told her. She then asked how I knew her. I told her that both of us run in the same circles. She is with NTGenderFriends and I'w with LNT, Tri-Ess. At that point Dr. Kings eyes got wide and she stared at me for a few moments. Then she smiled and asked if she note in my chart that I was TG. I told her sure, no problem. She then asked what my Fem Name is. I told her and she also noted that in my chart. We then spent about 10 minutes more talking about my TG issues and such. It feels so great to be able to tell my Doctor and have her completely understand.
I then asked her about coming to one of my Tri-Ess meetings and giving a talk on TG Med Issues. She said, she normally does not do that, but she would think about since it was a TG group.
