Sandra,
I just deleted two paragraphs in response to your question before I realized I was stealing your thread. So in short answer, I wouldn't wear any bikini out in public. I'm afraid that I would be grossly embarrassed, or rather everyone else would be. Hehehe! But I do possess 2 lovely out fits for my own private use.

Bikini in public no. I have decided not to buy any more bikini's as they look ridicules on me. Now tankinis and monokinis are still a go in my swimwear collection. I love a monokini as it is the best of both worlds. Sadly most are sold in juniors sizes but an XL in juniors fits me.

No two piece for me, wouldn't fit , wouldn't look good.
We are working on a one piece for this summer.

I was going to ditto Donna and Virginia, then I thought what is the difference between a bikini and what I would wear in male mode? I double ditto them.

Hi Sandra Jane,

If you can do, and it sounds like you can, go for it!

'Fraid I'm like the others, bikini in private only. But don't let us stop you!

(For that matter, maybe looking ridiculous isn't a good enough reason to hide? "Better to have bikini'd and lost, than never to have bikini'd at all." But I'm sensitive too to the argument that we all are ambassadors for our kind, so I refrain ... for now.)

Still, I wistfully wish you well on your bikini adventures. Live! and be yourself gladly,

Love, Robyn Katie

Hi Robyn
Some of the beaches in Europe are easy going so people don't feel out of place

I do wear one with a built-in flirt skirt and a heavily-frilled top, though not in public just yet. I do go in my neighbor's hot tub once in a while, since their son turned out to be gay they've been more open to these kinds of things than l'd ever have expected them to be.

Unfortunately, I'll have to move to a college dorm soon, so goodbye quality time.

I have a few bikinis and tankinis, mostly just for my pool. At public beaches and pool parties I wear a one piece swimskirt....I'm so modest
