Crossdresser Identity

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Crossdresser Identity

Post by Julieann »

Do we have an international identity or symbol. it may be nice if there was a way of letting our sisters know we are one of them. Any ideas.

JulieAnn,

Just to get started -- the yin/yang symbol has been suggested. I like that as well as any and better than most.

But also take a look at the purple-ribbon one designed by Dixie at

http://cdsecretgarden.femmegetaway.com/body_symbols.htm

There are others. Some of them combine the male and female alchemical symbols in various ways. Example at:

(scroll down).

If you google "crossdresser symbol" you'll probably get a whole bunch more.

Love, Robyn Katie

Many years back a customer claimed that I parted my hair on the girls side , I cant remember if it was girls parted right and boys parted left or the other way around however I remained defiant.
I then decided to sybolize who I am by parting my hair straight down the middle.

Hi Julieann,

My understanding is that this is the universal symbol for transgendered people.

Hope that helps.

Love always,
